SuperLiga 2009 Recap – Fire and Revolution start off strong
It was the first weekend of matches in the 2009 SuperLiga which includes teams from the Mexican Primera Division and Major League Soccer. Several MLS teams showed their strength with victories including the Chicago Fire and the New England Revolution. Here’s a recap of this past weekend’s matches.

New England Revolution tops Santos Laguna 4-2 – The New England Revolution took a 1-0 lead only to give it up early in the second half. Three second half goals in the last 30 minutes led the MLS side to a 4-2 victory.
