Chelsea beats Fulham 2-0 – Video Highlights
Chelsea continued their great early season form with a 2-0 win at Fulham on Sunday. Chelsea dominated possession and chances with 61% of possession and 16 shots (4 on goal) to Fulham’s 6 shots (1 on goal). The goals came from Didier Drogba in the 39th minute and Nicolas Anelka in the 76th minute. Chelsea remains undefeated with a 3-0-0 record
Tottenham Hotspur edges West Ham United 2-1 – Video Highlights
Tottenham remained undefeated on the season with a 2-1 win at West Ham United. The first half was scoreless but West Ham grabbed an early lead in the second. A goal from Carlton Cole in the 49th minute put United ahead. Tottenham responded with two unanswered goals after Cole’s, one from Jermain Defoe (54th minute) and the game winner from Aaron Lennon (79th minute). Tottenham is not top of the table on goal difference.
Burnley tops Everton 1-0 – Video Highlights
Burnley won their second straight match with another home win as they beat Everton 1-0. The goal came from Wade Elliot in the 34th minute as Burnley is now middle of the table. Everton had a chance to tie in the second half but Louis Saha missed a penalty in the 76th minute.
