Friedel and Villa won again 2-0 against Fulham as the team is in good form in the last week. On Sunday’s match, he was not challenged by many shots (faced no shots on goal) but played a solid game by defending crosses and set pieces well. Aston Villa is now 8th in the league table with 6 points after two straight wins.

Howard and Everton came from behind to beat Wigan Athletic 2-1 on Sunday. The American goalkeeper remains solid and had 2 saves during the match. After a rough start, Everton has rebounded and starting to find their form. They are currently 16th on 3 points as Sunday was their first win of the season.
Clint Dempsey (MF) – Fulham – English Premier League – lost to Aston Villa 0-2 – Video Highlights
Dempsey and Fulham struggled against Villa as they were unable to get any shots on goal in the entire match. The team lacked the ability to create consistent scoring chances and Dempsey did not have a great game. Fulham is in 15th place in the league table and could find it tough to repeat last season’s 7th place performance. Dempsey had five shots in the match but none were on goal.

Johnson got rare playing time for Fulham as a second half substitute in the 76th minute. Fulham has had many injuries to several of their strikers and Johnson could continue to get time if that continues. He didn’t many touches in the match and no shots on goal.
