The PR Islanders got their first points in the group stage while Cruz Azul remains in good position to advance to the next round. The Islanders had three first half goals and lead 3-1 at halftime only to concede 2 goals in the second half. The goals for Puerto Rico were from Noel, Addlery, and Arrieta. Cruz Azul’s goals were scored by Vela and Zeballos who had two.
Arabe Unido edges Isidro Metapan 1-0 – Video Highlights
Arabe Unido scored on a 90th minute goal from Orlando Rodriguez to beat Isidro Metapan. With the win, Arabe is first in the group with 7 points while Metapan remains last with no points in three group matches.
