International Friendly Recap and Video Highlights: South Korea beats Australia 3-1, Netherland beat Japan 3-0
While most teams were busy with 2010 World Cup Qualification on Saturday, there were a few friendlies as well. Most noticably were South Korea v Australia and Netherlands v Japan. Here’s a recap of the both matches along with video highlights.
South Korea beats Australia 3-1
South Korea cruised past Australia behind goals from Seol Ki-hyeon, Park Chu-young, and Lee Jang-soo were the difference. Australia goal came in the first half with a header from Patrick Kisnorbo beat the goalkeeper.
Netherlands beat Japan 3-0
The Dutch easily beat Japan on Saturday with goals from Robin van persie (69th minute), Wesley Sneijder (73rd minute), and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (87th minute).
