The match really started to pick up around the 10th minute. Ronaldinho made a great run and sent a cross into the box that was cleared by the defense. Moments later, Parma player Blerim Dzemaili hit the crossbar. Milan returned a few minutes later with a great attack as Ronaldinho sent a through ball for Marco Boriello who beat the goalkeeper. Ronaldinho was very dangerous in the match and is showing signs of his old form.

Both teams had chances after the Milan goal and Parma forward Valeri Bojinov head a header on goal that was just saved by Dida. Parma continued to have chances Dida was solid and made the necessary saves in the first half. Milan would hold onto their 1-0 lead at halftime.

Parma was the more aggressive team to start the second half as they looked for a goal. Milan had some chances on counterattacks. Through 60 minutes it was still AC Milan leading 1-0. Milan looked to earn a penalty as Pirlo was taken down but the referee did not signal that there was a foul.

Milan came close again to extending their lead but a header from Thiago Silva that hit the crossbar. Finally, Milan would get the second goal as Ronaldinho sent a pass into the box and Borriello volleyed it past the goalkeeper. The goal came stoppage time and Parma’s chance of a draw or win were all but gone. AC Milan would win 2-0.
