Charlie Davies Update: Out of ICU and to have surgery on broken elbow
Charlie Davies’ condition after his car crash has improved where he’s now been moved out of the Intensive Car Unit. The USA striker still requires surgery for his broken elbow and possible operations to deal with facial fractures. Overall, it is good news he is out of serious condition and on his way to recovery. His long-term outlook is still unknown but probably a year before he would have any chance of returning to soccer or begin serious training. News remains positive on the condition of Charlie Davies, who continues to improve and has been moved out of the Intensive Care Unit at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. Davies has been able to receive and speak with visitors. He will have surgery early next week to repair a broken left elbow, and may require operations to deal with facial fractures.
