England names 24-man roster for World Cup Qualifiers against Ukraine and Belarus – Monday, October 5, 2009

Britain England Ukraine World Cup SoccerFabio Capello, England National Team manager, has named the 24-man squad for the upcoming UEFA World Cup Qualifiers against Ukraine and Belarus. England has already qualified for next summer’s 2010 World Cup Finals on South Africa. There’s little change from the last few months. Here’s the full roster.

England squad

Goalkeepers: Hart (Birmingham), Green (West Ham), James (Portsmouth)

Defenders: A Cole (Chelsea), Terry (Chelsea), Johnson (Liverpool), Bridge (Manchester City), Cahill (Bolton), Brown (Manchester United), Ferdinand (Manchester United), Upson (West Ham).

Midfielders: Milner (Aston Villa), Lampard (Chelsea), Beckham (Los Angeles Galaxy), Gerrard (Liverpool), Barry (Manchester City), Wright-Phillips (Manchester City), Carrick (Manchester United), Lennon (Tottenham).

Strikers: Agbonlahor (Aston Villa), Heskey (Aston Villa), Crouch (Tottenham), C Cole (West Ham), Rooney (Manchester United).
