FC Barcelona beats Almeria 1-0 – Video Highlights
FC Barcelona once again dominated Almeria at home with a 1-0 victory. The home side took the early lead in the 31st minute as Pedrito (Pedro Rodriguez Ledesma) scored with a shot to the upper right corner. Pedrito has been in great form recently continues to show he’s ready to be a regular starter. After receiving a pass with his back to the goal, he turned, shot, and his shot had almost no chance of being saved by the goalkeeper.
Barcelone failed to add to their lead in the first half but held Almeria to no shots. Possession throughout the match was dominated by Barca by over 70%. Even though Barcelona struggled to add to their lead, Almeria could not get anything going in the attack. It wasn’t an impressive 4-0 or 3-0 win but it was three points for FC Barcelona to keep their record perfect in La Liga.
They are top of the table for now (Real Madrid plays on Sunday) with a 6-0-0 record with a +14 goal differential. Almeria is in the middle of the table with a 1-3-2 record.
