Man City draws with Wigan 1-1, Blackburn beats Burnley 3-2 – Recap and Video Highlights – Sunday, October 18, 2009

Wigan and Man City draw at 1-1 – Video Highlights

Charlies N’Zogbia (45th minute) scored for Wigan and Martin Petrov (47th minute) scored for Man City as the two teams played to a 1-1 draw on Sunday. Wigan had the advantage for the final 25 minutes as Man City player Pablo Zabaleta was given a red card. Man City was able to hold on for the draw despite getting outshot and having less possession.

Blackburn Rovers beat Burnley 3-2 – Video Highlights

Robbie Blake gave Burnley the early lead but Blackburn Rovers came back to win the match 3-2 at home. David Dunn leveled the match in the 9th minute followed by goals from Franco Di Santo (21st minute) and Pascal Chimbonda (43rd minute). Burnley was able to get within one goal late in the match with a goal from Chris Eagles in the 90th minute but thats as close as they would get. Blackburn held on for the 3-2 win.
