UEFA Champions League Power Rankings – Thursday, October 1, 2009

soccer_ball21The UEFA Champions League had few upsets this week in group stages matches. The one exception was AC Milan losing FC Zurich. The 90th Minute’s rankings are going to change where we will only rank the top 16 even though there are 32 in the group stage. Realistically, any team outside the top 16 is not a threat to win the title.

Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and FC Barcelona are all near the top. Liverpool’s loss at Fiorentina has dropped them a bit but they remain in the top 10. Here’s the latest UEFA Champions League Power rankings through Thursday, October, 1, 2009.

  3. Real Madrid
  4. Arsenal
