English Carling Cup Semifinal Draw Released: Man City v Man U & Blackburn v Aston Villa

The English Carling Cup is now into the semifinals as the draw was released on Wednesday, December 2, 2009. The draw provides some very interesting match-ups including the Manchester derby as City plays United. The semifinals will be a two legged tie starting play on January 5th and 6th (first legs) and commencing on January 19th and 20th (second legs). Here’s the full draw for the Carling Cup Semifinals.

5/6 January 2010 - Manchester City v Manchester United – City of Manchester Stadium, Manchester

5/6 January 2010 - Blackburn Rovers v Aston Villa – Ewood Park, Blackburn

Second leg

19/20 January 2010 - Manchester United v Manchester City – Old Trafford, Manchester

19/20 January 2010 - Aston Villa v Blackburn Rovers – Villa Park, Birmingham

Final

The final will be played at Wembley Stadium, London, on Sunday, 28 February 2010.
