Arsenal hosted Sunderland in the English Premier League with a chance to move two points of second place Manchester United. With Man U losing in the early match, the Gunners could move closer to assuring at least a top three finish and keep their title hopes still alive. Sunderland have struggled have a good start and are just above the relegation zone.

Arsenal dominated most of the match and won 2-0 to move within two points of Man United. The loss is another setback for Sunderland who are only slightly above the relegation zone.
The goals for Arsenal came from Nicklas Bendtner in the 27th minute and Cesc Fabregas in the 90th minute. In the first goal, Bendtner made a run to the far post where he was wide open and received a pass from Eboue. The final goal was a penalty drawn by Fabregas and converted with a low shot to the right corner.
Arsenal’s EPL title hopes are still alive with the win as they are six points back of leaders Chelsea.
