Fulham continues to have key injuries but have shown the ability find other players to step up. Shakhtar Donetsk are the favorites in the tie and would likely be looking for just a draw or to get some away goals.

Fulham scored one goal in the first half and one in the second to get a 2-1 win on Thursday night.
The first goal was from Zoltan Gera in the third minute but Shaktar would respond in the first half. The goal for Shakhtar was by Luiz Adriano in the 32nd minute to make it 1-1 after 45 minutes.
Fulham would continue to get chances and take the lead for good in the 63rd minute with a goal from Bobby Zamora. The English side would hold on for the win and now will head to Shakhtar for the second leg with a 2-1 aggregate lead.
