Germany v Serbia Preview
Germany were the most impressive team in the first round of group stage matches as they defeated Australia 4-0. It’s still unclear if that was a case of Germany’s strength or a poor performance form Australia. Serbia lost their opening match against Ghana and likely need a result to keep their knockout stage hopes alive.
It will be a tougher match for Germany than their first one but they are still highly favored. With Serbia needing the points it will play into Germany’s favor who should have plenty of chances in an open match. The match could be a lot closer than expected but Germany have shown they are a real contender for this World Cup.
