It was a slow start for the Arsenal but they eventually would find a goal to get the three points.
Overall, Arsenal had most of the chances and possession but struggled to find the back of the net. Finally, in the 88th minute, Alex Song would score on a diving header to make it 1-0.
The goal was enough for the Gunners to get the win and remain five points back of Chelsea. They are now in second place as Man City lost to Wolves on Saturday.
West Ham are still in last place with only six points through 10 matches.
