It was an entertaining match with the visitors scoring late to earn a draw.
The home side started out better in the first half but failed to convert some great chances. Eventually, they would take the lead in the 43rd minute when Andy Carroll scored with a great finish from inside the box.
It was an England side without many of their top stars and it would show in the second half. They struggled to maintain their lead as Ghana applied pressure in the final minutes of the match. In stoppage time the breakthrough came for Ghana as Asamoah Gyan would score with a curling shot past the diving Joe Hart.
The match ended a few moments later in a 1-1 draw. It was a fair result as England started out the better side but Ghana more than deserved the second goal with their play in the second half.
