2011 Major League Soccer (MLS) Power Rankings: Week 5

It was an interesting week in MLS with a strong showing from the NY Red Bulls. After some disappointing result, NY responded with a 3-0 win including Thierry Henry’s first goal of the season. RSL weren’t spectacular against Colorado but found a way to get the win. They remain the top team and the only with a perfect record in the 2011 season.
On the other end, Chivas USA and FC Dallas continue to struggle. Chivas has yet to win a match while Dallas has a 1-3-1 record. As I’ve said before, there’s not a lot of difference from 6-14 and it’s still every early in the season.
