It was another great performance from Barcelona as they have a 5-1 after the first leg.

The goals were from Andres Iniesta in the 2nd minute, Dani Alves in the 34th minute, Gerald Pique in the 53rd minute, Seydou Keita in the 60th minute, and Xavi in the 86th minute. Shakhtar’s lone goal was scored by Yaroslav Rakitskiy in the 59th minute.

The win was dominating from Barcelona as they had 70% of possession and held Shakhtar to only one shot on goal. The second leg will head to the Ukraine where Shakhtar will need to make up the four goal deficit to advance to the semifinals. Barcelona will likely face Real Madrid if they move into the semifinals.
