Helder Barbosa scored in the 6th minute followed by a 59th minute Lima goal and another one from Barbosa in the 88th minute. Marlon King scored the only goal for Birmingham, in the 71st minute. It’s not a surprising result for Birmingham who are in England’s 2nd division (Championship) while Braga were runner-ups in last season’s Europa League.
Both sides return to their domestic leagues on the weekend. The Europa League returns on September 29th with more group stage matches.
