USA 2014 World Cup Squad Projection – Version 1.0
While the World Cup is still over 2 years away, it’s never too early to start thinking about the possible USA squad. They do have to qualify but that seems very likely as they are clearly one of the top sides (along with Mexico) in CONCACAF. As I did for the 2010 World Cup, I will be doing projections for the final 23 man squad.
This projection is a combination of who I would like to see chosen and who I think manager Jurgen Klinsmann will select. The projections will likely change quite a bit as World Cup qualifying begins, injuries occur, and which players are in good form.
