AEL kept a clean sheet as Patrick Vouho’s 13th minute goal was the difference.

Anderlecht 5-0 FK Ekranas

Deuidonne Mbokani had a brace to lead Anderlecht towards a dominant victory. Tom De Sutter, Milan Jovanovic, and da Rocha Kanu provided the other goals for the home side.

FC Copenhagen 0-0 Club Brugge

Copenhagen failed to grab a first leg lead as Club Brugge will be favored with the second leg at the Jan Breydel Stadium.

NK Maribor 4-1 F91 Dudelange

Maribor were in total control as Dejan Mezga, Robert Beric, and Marcos Tavares scored the goals. Dudelange did get a late away goal but will need to be much improved in the second leg.

Celtic 2-1 HJK Helsinki

Celtic responded after conceding in the second half with goals from Gary Hooper and Charlie Mulgrew to get the victory. HJK could advance with a 1-0 win in the second leg while Celtic would only need a draw.

CFR Cluj-Napoca 1-0 Liberec

A 53rd minute Ricardo Cardu penalty was the difference as CFR hold a slim first leg advantage.

Fenerbahce 1-1 FC Vaslui

Valui took the lead with a 75th minute Livui Antal goal but Bekir Irtegun scored the 89th minute equalizer for Fenerbahce.

Slask Wroclaw 0-3 Helsingborg

The visitors left with a convincing win behind goals from Alfred Finnbogason, Christoffer Andersson, and Daniel Nordmark.
