Frankfurt continued their perfect start to the season with their fourth win from four matches. It’s been a stellar start for Eintracht are newly promoted and not expected to be in contention for a spot in Europe. Nuremburg suffer their first loss of the season and did make things interesting in the second half. Erwin Hoffer and Takashi Inui gave the visitors the lead and Sebastian Polter scored Nuremberg’s lone goal. Both teams will return to league play next Tuesday and Wednesday with midweek fixtures
