Borussia Monchengladbach 2-2 Hamburg

Monchengladbach rallied on two different occasions to get their first home draw of the season. Hamburg took leads of 0-1 and 1-2 on goals from Rafael Van der Vaart and Artjoms Rudnevs. Monchengladbach leveled with a 39th minute Martin Stranzl goal but faced adversity after going down 1-2. The home side faced more difficulties when Stranzl was sent off in the 53rd minute. It took a stoppage time Alvaro Dominguez Soto goal to eventually get Monchengladbach level and share the points.

Bayer Leverkusen cruised to an away win behind three first half goals. The deficit was too much for Augsburg who are last in the German Bundesliga table and only scored two goals in five matches. Leverkusen are up to eigth place with a 2-1-2 record.

Hannover 4-1 FC Nuremberg

Hannover moved up to third place with a strong home victory. Didier Ya Konan had a brace while Lars Stindl and Szabolcs Huszti scored the other goals. Nuremberg’s Timmy Chandler scored consolation goal in the 73rd minute after the match was well out of reach. Hannover are unbeaten at home with a 2-1-0 record while suffer their first away loss of the season.
