The first loss of the season for Arsenal as Chelsea never trailed in the match. It’s been a great start for Chelsea who have 16 points from five matches and four clear of both Manchester teams.

Everton 3-1 Southampton
The Toffees continue their uncharacteristic great start to the season with a solid win at Goodison Park. Southampton surprised with an early lead but Everton was quick to respond and take a 3-1 lead by the 38th minute.

Fulham 1-2 Manchester City
A gritty come from behind win for Man City who trailed 1-0 after 10 minutes. Fulham have been a tough team to beat at home but couldn’t stop Edin Dzeko from scoring the match winner in the 87th minute.

Norwich City 2-5 Liverpool
A Luis Suarez hat trick was more than enough as Liverpool earned their first league win of the season. It’s a win that will take some pressure off new manager Brendan Rodgers but not for long as Liverpool are only up to 14th place.

Stoke got their first win of the season behind a Peter Crouch brace. The striker has four goals in six matches and Stoke are up to 12th place.

The Black Cats won their first league match of the season in part to a Jordi Gomez red card. Four minutes after the ejection, Steven Fletcher scored the game winning goal.

Manchester United 2-3 Tottenham Hotspur
A surprise result as Spurs had not won at Old Trafford in many years. They came out firing in the first half with a quick 2-0 lead but had to hang on in the second half. Clint Dempsey scored the match winner in the 52nd minute right after United had just made it 2-2.
